Account Executive (Netherlands)

  • On-site
    • Groningen, Netherlands

Job description

We are a tech company building digital tools for churches and faith communities across Europe. Together with Hagru, which recently became part of ChurchDesk, we help thousands of organizations simplify administration, strengthen engagement, and increase their impact.

As we continue to grow in the Netherlands and across Northern Europe, we are looking for an Account Executive to join our team in Groningen. This is a unique opportunity to help churches embrace digital tools and make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Note: You don’t need to share a particular faith background to work with us—we’re looking for people who are passionate about building great products, solving meaningful problems, and creating impact.

About your new role

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the entire end-to-end sales process for our segments, from initial strategic outreach and discovery to negotiation and closing.

  • Strategic Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities through strategic cold calling and multi-channel outreach to church leaders and administrators.

  • Segment Management: Navigate diverse deal sizes, ranging from Small Business to Enterprise complexity.

  • Consultative Selling: Conduct high-impact product demonstrations that translate technical features into community-focused value for ecclesiastical stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless handovers and long-term client retention.

  • Market Intelligence: Contribute directly to our Go-to-Market strategy by providing "boots-on-the-ground" feedback and competitive insights.

Job requirements

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the SaaS or software industry.

  • Sales Track Record: A documented history of hitting or exceeding quotas in outbound, consultative sales environments.

  • Mission Alignment: Excitement about helping communities thrive through technology and an appreciation for the important role churches and faith communities play in bringing people together.

  • Sector Familiarity: Prior experience working with the public sector, NGOs, or religious organizations is highly preferred.

  • High Drive: A self-motivated "door-opener" who thrives on the challenge of closing complex sales and building a pipeline from scratch.

  • Communication Mastery: Native-level fluency in Dutch and professional proficiency in English.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to make a real impact on a product used by some of the largest and oldest institutions in the world.

  • A supportive, low-ceremony, and lean-process environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.

  • Fancy a change of scenery? Come visit us in Copenhagen, Berlin or Oslo! We’ll cover all your travel and expenses so you can work alongside the team and soak up the local vibe.

  • 30 days of vacation – because rest matters.

  • A transparent and supportive feedback culture – grow together, learn from each other, and communicate openly.

  • A social, collaborative culture with annual kick-offs, team trips, and friendly challenges.

  • Growth opportunities to develop your skills and career in a fast-moving, international team.
