Senior Full Stack Engineer (React, Node.js)

About your new role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from shaping product requirements to delivering production-ready solutions across frontend and backend.

• Work hands-on to build high-quality, maintainable, and scalable applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Collaborate closely with our product team, designers, and fellow engineers to shape product features and technical solutions.

• Take an active role in shaping our architecture and engineering practices, balancing rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.

• Mentor and support teammates by sharing knowledge, best practices, and architectural guidance.

• Embrace AI-augmented workflows to accelerate boilerplate generation and focus on solving high-value customer problems.

• Build reliable, scalable, and modular systems using Node.js, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch while creating intuitive and performant user experiences with React.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering culture, tooling, and development processes.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering products end-to-end.

• Has strong experience across both frontend and backend technologies.

• Has deep expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases (particularly MySQL).

• Understands modern frontend engineering practices including state management, component design, performance optimization, and testing.

• Has experience designing scalable backend systems, APIs, and data models.

• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and enjoys collaborating across engineering, design, and product.

• Is based in Copenhagen or willing to relocate, and is excited to work closely with the team from our office.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as ElasticSearch, Redis, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with React Native, as our mobile apps and in-person donation terminals are built using it.

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, such as prompt engineering or code generation tools.
